Today, a member of our club, Lion Cristian Angheluță, fulfilled a humanitarian mission on behalf of the club - donating toys for a number of 28 children of the Kindergarten in Răducăneni Commune, Iasi County. We managed, thus, to bring great joy to the children, and their smiles once again made us proud and honored by our mission in the service of the community. We serve!

Within the Lions National Convention, held in Bucharest, following the vote, we would like to congratulate Niels Schnecker for his election as the representative of District 124 in the position of International Director of Lions Clubs International, congratulations to Marin Florin Ilieș for being elected Governor of Lions District 124 Romania, congratulations Manuel Seles for being chosen as 1st Vice-Governor of the District and last but not least, congratulations to our club member, Lion Alexandru Grigorovici for being elected as 2nd Vice-Governor of the District! We wish success and growth to the work of the entire new Cabinet in the coming lionistic year 2023-2024! We serve!

Today we went to the Bucium Social Services Center in Iasi to make 123 children happy, aged between 3 and 17 years old, offering them toys corresponding to their ages. Thus, we brought a big smile to the faces of these children, even for a short period of time . We will definitely come back!

1. Status of contributions 2. To inform the INFO student to participate in diabetes, pediatric Onco camps 3. Diabetes camp. An agreement was made with Dr. Dana Anton ... 15.06-18.06 —- min 15 children with 5 parents and 2 nurses —- at Motel Bucium —- various actions (approximately 7 rooms). Activities: hammock, swimming pool, cinema, viper, campfire (Saturday), activity with the psychologist on the first evening and activity with entertainers. To make flyers with the action...to collect sponsorships...Participants: Vasile P, Radu G, Costel I, Cristian A, Daniel Cherciu, etc. To take away the toys from the children`s PTR warehouse. 4. National Convention from Bucharest. 5. Actions with toys: Vasile Fetcu, Tuesday, May 30 - Bălțati (14); who goes to Tiganasi and when!?(); Jantuan May 31 - Erbiceni; Who goes to Ungheni and when!?; Costuleni is left with a question mark; Jantuan on May 31 Tutora; costel Irimia Tuesday, May 30 - Dobrovat and Holboca; Angheluta-Raducaneni, Monday 29 May 6. The action of kayaking canoe. Monday 10-5 June the action at the pier, on Bicaz. Anyone who wants can come to Ancora on Sunday evening...eventually. Equipment: kayak, Paddle, vest, skirt. Have short or long pants. You can participate in individual or double kayak, canoe. Announce who wants to participate. So far they have announced: Sandu, Aurelian, Costel.... 7. Today we went to the Emergency Reception Center in Str. Mitropolit Veniamin in Iasi to make 30 children happy, aged between 3 and 18 years old, offering them toys corresponding to their ages. Thus, we brought a smile to the faces of these children , even for a short period of time. We will definitely come back! We serve!

Today we went to the Rosetti Social Services Center in Iasi to make 103 children happy, between the ages of 3 and 18, offering them toys appropriate for their ages. Thus, we brought a smile to the faces of these children, even for a short period of time. We will definitely come back! We serve!

Donation action "Soimu Romica" Soimu Romica is a 64-year-old person and suffers from spastic quadriparesis, operated right hip fracture, chronic urinary infection resulting in an effect of incomplete urinary retention, thus granting him a Grade 1 non-revisable handicap. Lions Club Iasi 2000 International decided to donate a medical electric scooter HS-828, worth 16420 lei. We are glad that we helped this person, making his life a little easier! We Serve!

February 15: International Day of the Child with Cancer International Day of the Child with Cancer is marked on 15 February each year as a global collaborative campaign to raise awareness of children diagnosed with cancer and their needs. Children with cancer face difficult and demanding situations, such as being isolated from peers and friends for long periods of time. Most often, the path taken in the fight against the disease is marked by immense pain and stress. The symbol of the International Day of the Child with Cancer is The golden yellow ribbon is the symbol of the International Day of the Child with Cancer and aims to draw attention to the fact that every child with cancer has the right to the best possible medical and psychosocial care, regardless of country of origin, race, financial situation or social class. At the same time, the yellow-gold ribbon reminds that many of the deaths of children with cancer can be avoided by accurate diagnosis, in a timely manner, by the access of these children to adequate treatment and care, to good quality essential medicines. Thus, today the International Lions Club Iasi 2000, through its members and with the help of sponsors who contributed materially, brought a touch of happiness through the gifts and sweets they offered to children with cancer, from the Hospital of St. Maria from Iasi. “O inimă de leu alături de cei in suferință”

Pe data de 15 Octombrie 2022 , clubul nostru a organizat acțiunea “O inima de leu alături de cei in suferința”. La aceasta acțiune am preluat 50 de pacienți de la Spitalul de Psihiatrie Grajduri -Iasi ,alături de personal calificat si ne-am deplasat către Mănăstirile Secu si Sihăstrie , unde au primit o masa calda , un Mir si o Iconița, impreuna cu binecuvântarea Starețului Arhimandrit Arsenie Popa al M Sihăstria . După aceasta, am făcut un popas de câteva ore in aer liber, unde am organizat o masa calda (grătar) . Pacienții s-au simțit foarte bine , așteptând cu nerăbdare următoarea acțiune. We Serve!

Donation action Today, September 12, 2022, we chose to help the Bucium Community Services Complex in our city-Iasi with some sweets. Thus, our colleague Cristian Velicescu went to this action with the products in question, sweetening for a few days these abandoned souls from the Bucium Children`s Home. WE SERVE!

In this lionistic action, we support a student from a rural area, a child who grew up without parents, raised by a grandmother. We proposed to support her during her high school studies by purchasing supplies, clothes, school training, supporting her participation in the Olympics, etc. I mentioned that this child studies at one of the best high schools in Iasi-Romania, namely at the Grigore C. Moisil Informatics High School.

Am avut placerea sa organizam o intalnire comuna cu Lions Club D, informala cu viceguvernatorul 2 Manuel Seles, Ne a prezentat programul de guvernare in mandatul sau si dorinta de a implica cluburile noastre in cat mai multe proiecte nationale.
